Queensland University of Technology (QUT) is seeking a Lecturer to join the School of Mathematical Sciences. The School of Mathematical Sciences at QUT is committed to a gender-equitable workplace. To advance gender-equity, the School is seeking to improve gender balance among staff by recruiting an ongoing staff member (women only) who is able to provide strategic capacity in both research and learning & teaching within the School in any field of applied or computational mathematics, operations research or statistics. The successful candidate will focus their teaching on providing high-quality learning experiences in QUT’s Bachelor of Mathematics (majors in applied and computational mathematics, statistics and operations research), Bachelor of Mathematics (Honours), Bachelor of Data Science and to students in related disciplines such as engineering, and the natural and health sciences. The appointee’s research interests will ideally align with existing strengths in the School of Mathematical Sciences.
- Term: Ongoing, full-time basis
- Remuneration: $AUD119,829 to AUD$142,312 pa (LEVB) (inclusive of $AUD101,257 to $AUD120,255 pa salary, 17% superannuation and 17.5% recreation leave loading)
