The Department of Econometrics & Business Statistics, one of the seven Departments at Monash Business School, comprises approximately 50 academics (and 50 PhD students) with particular strengths in econometrics, statistics, and actuarial science. The department is seeking to appoint a suitably qualified and enthusiastic Lecturer or Senior Lecturer to join our highly motivated team. Business Analytics is a well-established discipline in the Department with a strong statistical foundation, and an emphasis on statistical modelling and data analysis. As a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer, you will further develop the profile for the Department of Econometrics and Business Statistics, contributing to all activities of the organisational unit or interdisciplinary area and play major roles in scholarly, research and/or professional activities. To be successful, you will have expertise in statistics or a closely related discipline. Preference will be given to candidates with expertise in one of the following areas: machine learning, statistical computing, data visualisation, computational statistics, data science or operations research.

• Duration: Continuing appointment.
• Remuneration: $104,185 – $123,720 pa Level B / $127,624 – $147,159 pa Level C (plus 17% employer superannuation).
