This is an opportunity for a Research Associate/Postdoctoral Research Associate in Applied Statistics to join a team of researchers within an NHMRC CRE for CAD, under the supervision of Chief Investigators Prof. Gemma Figtree and Prof. Jean Yang. As indicated in the position titles, although a PhD is not requirement, we are also willing to recruit someone interested in a Postdoctoral position. The successful applicant will also be part of the Sydney Precision Data Science Centre and School of Mathematics and Statistics. We have a strong team working on various aspects of applied statistics and bioinformatics research. We are interested in applying data science and applied statistics methods to solve intractable problems in medicine and digital health. Your key responsibilities will be to work independently and as part of a team to conduct data analysis on large-scale biomedical datasets, publish research papers in international peer-reviewed journals, present at conferences, and mentor undergraduate and postgraduate students.
- Full time fixed term for 12 months, offering a base salary of $83,454 to $112,462 +17% superannuation
