Applied Statisticians (Lecturer/Associate Lecturer) – University of Sydney

The University of Sydney is seeking to appoint an Applied Statistician / Lecturer and an Applied Statistician / Associate Lecturer to work in the Data Hub at the Charles Perkins Centre (CPC) at the University. The Data Hub is a new initiative of the CPC to increase capacity in data-intensive research with direct translational impact in biomedical and metabolomics health research. The Data Hub will enable context-specific data analysis on collaborative projects. In addition to working as a data statistician or data analyst, both positions are required to teach one day per week for the School of Mathematics and Statistics. One of the positions will also be required to manage the administration of the Data’s Hub’s services.
The successful applicant will also be part of the Sydney Precision Data Science Centre and School of Mathematics and Statistics. We have a strong team working on various aspects of applied statistics and bioinformatics research.

- 0.8 FTE Data Hub Statistician in the Charles Perkins Centre Data Hub and 0.2 FTE teaching in the School of Mathematics and Statistics
- Base Salary, Level A/B $105,350 – $118,390 + 17% superannuation
