What’s New in the ADSN – September 2024

The ADSN Conference is heading to Western Australia this year.  It will be held at Curtin University in Perth and is being hosted by the Curtin Institute for Data Science.

This year’s conference will feature an additional third day which will be industry-focused. Also, there will be an opportunity to tour the Pawsey Supercomputing Research Centre on that day.

OceaniaR Hackathon 2024 – This event is a chance to collaborate in-person on R-focused projects for social good, with some of the leading developers in the R community. There will also be time to hold informal talks to share ideas, concepts and new packages for feedback.

eResearch Australasia Conference – Hosted by Australasian eResearch Organisations (AeRO) Inc., the conference is the premiere event for those interested in eResearch and actively transforming research via information technology.


Early Career & Student Statisticians Conference – ECSSC 2024 is a hybrid event held over four half-days across three in-person hubs. An “Early Career or Student Statistician” is anyone who is currently studying statistics or data science or has graduated in the last five years and works with statistics. There is no age restriction.
